Gamma Seals

What are Gamma Seals?

Gamma seals, also known as Axial face seals, are seal used in various applications. They possess an elastomer sealing lip covered by a metal structure. Gamma seals are generally used as auxiliary seals to provide additional  protection to other seals and the mechanical components against contaminants in demanding and dirty working environments. 

Gamma seals are recommended to be used to provide sealing against foreign contaminants, liquids, and grease.
