Bonded Seals
What is a bonded seal?
Bonded seals are installed around bolts or screws. They consist of two main components: an outer metal ring and an inner ring (similar to an O-ring) made of an elastomeric material. Aided by the pressure of the outer metal ring, the inner elastomeric material is able to form a tight seal over the sealed component, preventing bursting or leakage.
Bonded Seal designs
400 Series
The 400 Series bonded seals were originally designed to replace copper gaskets in high pressure systems.
The 400 series bonded seals include a metal gasket and an inner diameter bonded elastomer ring. The metal rings prevent over-compression and limit the deformation of the elastomeric material.

600 series
The 600 series engagement seal is an integrally formed seal, and the rubber sealing element is mechanically locked in the metal ring. They are designed to seal the underside of the head of the fastener and the external pressure system. They can be assembled and disassembled, are easy to install, and are easily separated from the contact surface without the need for special tools or chemicals. This allows easy access to the sealed area.

750 Series
The 750 series are reusable, safe and reliable threaded seals. With their unique design, they do not require special machining or bolts, screws or threads. They are self-centralizing, non-directional, and low cost. No special tools or special skills necessary to assemble – simply push it gently and tighten the fasteners.
